72 hours to go at the Y. I'm sitting in Starbucks in richfield waiting for the HR Generalist to show up for my "Exit Interview." I feel fine. Relaxed. Wondering what they hope to gain by interviewing outgoing persons. Is it like the self evaluations that HR has people do before their reviews? Or even the reviews themselves. I do the review, enter the recommended raise into a spreadsheet, sent it to HR and the review is filed away.
So I'm waiting for Jill to show up, and I am kind of wondering what I'll tell her. I have no urge to throw anyone under the bus, but Colleen urged me to give specific examples of what a total schmuck Dave is. I certainly owe him no loyalty, but it feels unrefined or something to give details on the outrageous behavior that actually DID push me out the door.
And the way that it made me feel like I was constantly going to be in trouble for something even though I was working my ass off.
Anyway, she'll be here in a moment, so I'm going to visit the bathroom in case I sneeze. I really don't want to wet myself while she's sitting here. (Or at all, truth be told.)
