January 18, 2012

Nine days left at the YMCA and then I have three days of reprieve before starting my new job at the credit union. I'm looking forward to working regular hours and having just a few blocks to drive to work instead of the 45 minutes it takes me now. (Assuming I drive the speed limit.)

I'm tired of being taken advantage of and not being appreciated. Some people do. I'm not saying all, but when you bust your hump for people, I guess you wish that they would at least shut their yaps about how you could be better. Especially when you have to fix their crap, too.

Oh, well. NINE DAYS! I'm definitely suffering from senioritis. I just don't give a shit at this point if I only work 8 hours instead of 12. Screw 'em. If a day is just a day, then it's all the same the other way, too.

Anyhoo...Tomorrow is the meet and greet at the Quarry, and since I haven't met Carole's new greyhounds, I really want to go. And I'm hopefully going to meet Rose for drinks tomorrow, so maybe that's on my way. I'll have to GPS it and see.

I went to the thrift store today and spent $20 on a shirt. Unprecidented, but I needed something to wear, and it's just so cute. Never again though! I also got Gabe another pair of mittens, since he lost both pairs I've gotten him in the last three weeks. Also he lost the SUPER CUTE hat I got him for Christmas.

I should do some exercise or something. That would probably perk me up. I think once I start the new job, I'll join the Community Center and work out there. I never have a chance to work out at the Y. It's ironic. I think though that what it is is that I just feel icky when I go in there...it's not a good vibe. And I don't want to work out there, which is something that I do for myself. that's why I prefer jogging outside, even when it's 10 degrees. LOL

I have my exit interview next week, and I think I'm looking forward to the opportunity to honestly say what I think is wrong and MAYBE someone will care and do something to make it better for others.

Anyway. That's today's two cents!
